I have worked in voluntary sector organisations since the ‘90s when I was a team leader at Schumacher
College: a residential centre for ecological studies. At the same time, I completed a 4-year training in
Core Process Psychotherapy and taught Movement Shiatsu. After seeing private clients for several years
I co-founded Interface Learning: an integration project working with NEET young people, refugee and
asylum-seeker families, and cross-cultural heritage. In 2010 I became the creative director of Taiko
Centre East, teaching in schools and community groups across East Anglia. I volunteer as an allotment
site rep and enjoy writing about Chinese philosophy: heavenisround.com
